What the Critics Say

"The narrative hits fever pitch in the final scenes as Olson, Cooper and Sutton confront the white supremacists that have sullied their reputations and threatened their loved ones. Gay rights, gun control and other hot-button issues augment the narrative tension, and O'Brien's snappy dialogue effectively maintains the breakneck pacing of this haunting read." Kevin O'Brien outdoes himself AGAIN!

Any additional comments?

This book is excellent. It is so suspenseful, but this is something I've come to expect from Kevin O'Brien. This book does not disappoint, he seem to outdo himself with each new release. It kept my attention with no lulls throughout the entire book. Celebrities are being stalked, murdered or framed for murder at an alarming rate. Celebrities that have made mistakes or who take a stand for something a group of vigilantes with "high morals and ethics" believe to be corrupt and detrimental to to decent people. Anti-gay, anti-abortion and anti gun control to name a few. The problem is, many of the activists appear to be "normal" and acceptable members of society or part of the intended victims own staff or body guard. No one to trust.
I listened to this in one day and could not put it down. Joe Barrett did an Excellent job narrating.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!

I liked this one

An ultrasimplistic story: Hollywood actors, bad guys, simple declarative sentences, a transparent plot, misc good guys. I got sucked in and by the time we all limped into Idaho I felt like I was enjoying a Carl Hiaassen (sp) novel. A book for those who can tolerate a slow ride down a bumpy road.
