Publisher's Summary

Ten little girls sat at their computers
Wondering who they'd find on line
One entered a chat room with a killer
And then there were nine....
On the eve of the new millennium, thousands of people logged on to the Internet for the first time every day. Some were looking for love. Some were looking for victims.
In The Killer Net, courageous police department secretary, Jennifer Warren, matches wits against a genius who lures women in under the pretense of looking for a relationship. He boldly taunts the police with e-mail poems about their murders sent from the crime scenes. The cops continue to arrive only to discover another dead body and no way to find a killer who has disappeared without a trace.

Amazing narration

Set in 1999 when the internet was really taking off and online dating was becoming popular, a killer is using the internet to select his prey. There are lots of short chapters giving insight into the killers and the victims minds. I thought the plot was fairly predictable and that I had it all figures out halfway through, then the twists started. I kept changing my mind over who I thought the killer was and never knew until the end. The suspense build through out the book and I found myself quite involved by the end.

I listened to the audiobook edition of this book, which I received free in exchange for an honest review. The narrator was fabulous and really made the book for me. She put so much emotion into the characters and used a few special effects which added to the story.

SUPER GREAT LISTEN!!!

Where does The Killer Net rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I listen to a TON of books....and although this is not in my top ten...I still rank it as an excellent listen...and for an Inde production it was very well done!

What other book might you compare The Killer Net to and why?

I cant compare it, because this is not my usual genre....but I loved it!! and Now want to check out more murder mystery books!!

Have you listened to any of Jeannie Lin’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have not, But she is excellent and I would totally listen to her again!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I don't like this question and will continue to say so...but this would make a great movie! Or episode of Law and Order...maybe one of those cross over events!!!!

Any additional comments?

This was a super great book! It was fast paced and detailed....I liked the characters and the story itself was fabulous....The Narration was spot on and the time went by so quickly because you didn't want to put it down! This is about a serial killer who basically feels women are sluts and all deserve to die because he had a bad childhood...He leads the cops on a mystery chase and taunts them over the internet....there are some twists and turns and just when you think you know who the killer is...BAM it catches you off guard...and you are like...WOW! I never saw that coming.....If you are looking for a quick and awesome listen...this right here is a winner all the way!!! 2 thumbs up!!! Well worth a listen and even a credit...so add it to your cart now! LOL
