Great book!

I love the books by Colleen Coble and this one was no exception. Plenty of plot twists, romance, and wonderful characters.

Good second book

This was an intriguing story, a little unbelievable (but it is fiction), and a good read overall. I only gave it 4 stars because of the “Hammer Girl Blog” quotes at the beginning of EVERY chapter ... I was so glad there wasn’t an epilogue and I’d have to hear one more ... they became soooo annoying. It wouldn’t have been a problem if I’d been reading the book, as I’d have just skipped over them, but listening gave me no choice. Looking forward to the next book and finding the third sibling.

Good story

Very good read/ listen- Some of the moments that were supposed to be intense, we’re not as I hoped. But I will look into getting another one of her books.

I'm loving this series!

I fell in love with Colleen Coble when I stumbled upon her Rock Harbor series years ago, and I love everything she writes. However, there is something special about this series. I guess I identify with the setting in Washington on the coast among the lavender fields at the base of the Olympic Mountains. And I have a lot of similarities with the main character in this book. Plus, she continues the story of the main characters of the first book as a secondary story in this one. This series is just extra special. Can't wait to start book 3!

Fantastic

The writing is absolutely amazing. The complexity of the story is required to have such an exciting tale, but I failed to keep up with the numerous characters.

Wondering if in the printed copy (or perhaps online) if there’s a list of characters. Need to go look.

Sooo slooow!

I’ve read several other books by C. Coble that are much more engaging and quicker paced. The plot was ok, but the book just dragged for me. And sorry, but I’m not a fan of Devon O’Day.

Thought very predictable from the beginning

Very juvenile and predictable from the beginning. Not up to previous books. Will review closer before getting another
