When Henry Parker begins to investigate the famous starlet's death, another public murder shakes the city to its core. Both murders appear to be more like executions. And Henry discovers a shocking link between the two murders, and to a man who seems to be taking his cue from one of the most notorious killers in history.
But as he gets closer to the truth, Henry finds himself in the crosshairs of the very killer he's trying to find. A killer with a demented code whose targets are anything but random. Because in his world there's a fine line between good and evil, and the only difference between innocence and guilt depends on who's holding the gun....

Super investigative reporter...
This is book 2 in the Henry Parker series. Again, Jason Pinter has written a really good book.
The publisher's summary sets up the first couple of paragraphs very well. There's a serial killer stalking people in NYC that he has deemed not worthy of living for his own twisted reasons. The person thinks he is a descendent of a long ago outlaw. He has decided that Henry is the person to tell his story, or to take him down. Again, Henry and anyone he is close to are in danger. This forces Henry to make some pretty tough decisions. The characters are believable and most scenarios plausible. All entertaining.
I am hoping that the rest of this series will be made available on Audible. There are four more books in this series.
If you have kindle unlimited this book is $7.49.
Adam Verner does an excellent job narrating.

Entertaining suspense thriller!
Young New York City newspaper reporter Henry Parker continues to live a harrowing life in Book 2 of this series. There are lots of action and suspense as he hunts down and faces a serial killer who wants Henry to make him famous. The story is complicated by Henry having one girlfriend too many in his life. Author Jason Pinter keeps the story moving and entertaining. Narrator Adam Verner is superb.
