Publisher's summary

What does the US government do when they run out of money? They seize the assets of hardworking Americans and count on the fact that most citizens will never stand up for their rights. However, Joshua Anderson, a logger by trade and small business owner, is not the typical American citizen. When the government threatens his family and attempts to steal his assets, Joshua is forced into hiding.

The government thought that Joshua would be an easy mark. They thought that they could easily find him, arrest him, and bury him, so no one would ever know what they are doing. They thought that no one would ever support a "criminal". They thought wrong.

The only way to stop tyranny is to rise and stand against the corruption. In what will forever be known as the Bonner Incident, Joshua battles for the rights of every American. With overwhelming odds leveled against him, Joshua couldn't possibly hope to win a war with the US government, or could he? After all, what can one man possibly do when he's opposed by a force of thousands?

Amazing Story

I don’t normally write a review, but I truly enjoyed this story.
It touched on just how far our country has drifted from the founding fathers hopes for America.
The only thing that really worries me is that I have no doubt that there are people working in our government that would see nothing wrong with what the government was portrayed doing in this book and would see Joshua as a criminal.
Please pray for our county, and let’s hope that God decides to restore her back to what our founding fathers wanted for her.
Thank you for one great story.

A Great Adventure

I've waited a long time for this book to come out on Audibles, so when it finally did, I stopped another book and began this one immediately. I loved this book and highly recommend this series to anyone who wants an edge of your seat type adventure! I think I'll go through both books again starting today!

awesome through and through

the only frustrating part was that I'm sure that Michael and Thomas probably would have continued on this series maybe not with Joshua but with our countries continued struggle. I have listened to almost all of Thomas's books on audible and started reading the ones not yet here. I love them to the end for better or for worse I love them. I am a combat wounded vet so alot of his stories appeal to be and yes there are parts where I am like unreal but unlike some I can get over it because these are stories meant to be a respite from the monotony of menial tasks or enjoyment of relaxing on a quiet rainy Sunday. keep up the good work Tom and KEEP AND BOOT IN HIS ASS TINA! LOL

Welcome to the Watchlist

If you purchase this book, I’m positive you’ll be put on some kind of list. But if you’re not already on a watchlist, of some kind, you’re probably not living right anyway. The series was awesome. While a few things are unrealistic and “hand-wavy” (easy comms eavesdropping, state government’s response at the end, extent of minutemen), overall it’s a very plausible story. And demonstrates what a 4GW insurgency could look like. There’s a big difference between dudes that look and speak differently, wear man-dresses, sandals, and use rusted out 60 year old guns; and a dude that looks, speaks, dresses, and acts like your neighbor, and is armed with access to current information, technology, and firearms. I pray that day never comes, because it would be bad for everyone.

Horrible Book Way Over The Top

Let me start by saying this is the first negative review I've ever left after over 200 audible books. I know this is fiction but this book is impossible. Coronado Ca. doesn't have as many combat skilled as this town in Oregon.

Gripping

The closure to The Bonner Incident was grand. And the "introduction" at the end was worth more than gold to this writers heart. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
