Publisher's Summary

Don Oberbier investigated anomalies, but he had never encountered one as powerful as the Black Death of Babylon. No pestilence had ever been so fatal, or so hideous. Blood was its tool and its seal-black patches that appeared to eat its victim from the inside out. And the disease attacked with a viciousness that decomposed its victim within two hours. When a Professor at prestigious Babylon University snaps and starts killing people with the disease, Don has the campus quarantined. He learns that the universities alumni directory contains a list of those to be murdered, and the investigation picks up speed as Don tries to catch the killer before everyone on the list is infected.

Great Mystery Thriller!

If you could sum up The Black Death of Babylon in three words, what would they be?

Great Mystery Thriller

What other book might you compare The Black Death of Babylon to and why?

I don't like to compare books with other books as if someone doesn't like a book I mention, they would dislike this book based on that book & that wouldn't be fair.

Have you listened to any of Jack de Golia’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, I enjoy listening to books Jack narrates! He does a great job.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

At the end, When we learn that Don finished off Dr Frost and hid him in his lab! I loved that part - Karma is a bitch at best! It seems like the only fitting ending.

Any additional comments?

What a fabulous story! I liked this book so much, I listened to it all in 1 sitting! The author Edward J McFadden III does such a good job. I love his imagination in all his books. This book really had me on the edge of my seat many times. I loved the Black Death Plague as it was written in this story. it made for an excellent thriller plot. The narrator did a bang up fantastic job too! Kudos to you both!
