Just one escape after another
There is no real story. Just one improbable escape from Nazi capture after another. The characters are wooden. I had just finished Leaving Berlin which I really liked and thought The Berlin Deception might have been as good.

Fun book if you like WWII espionage.
If you like books in this genre by Follett, Silva, Deighton, or Greg Iles. Narrator is very good.
Try also SS-GB, XPD, The Unlikely Spy, Black Cross, Eye of the Needle, The Key to Rebecca etc.... I loved all those and find this to be really entertaining. Easier than Kerr but you might like it if you like Bernie. A bit old fashioned like Helen MacInnes.
