Pleasantly Surprised

I just finished "The Appeal" in abridged format. I found it to be interesting and well presented. It held my attention to the end.

From some other reviews that were posted, I had some concerns about the ending being a disappointment. I have to disagree. Without giving the plot away, I think Grisham wanted to make us think about the subjects he was presenting. As far as I'm concerned, he succeeded.

The Appeal

I like the fact that it did make me think about how our world works despite how scary it is. However, the ending left me unsatisfied.
