Such a great series!

Yet another Sam Reilly story full of action, adventure and good dialog. The narration is fantastic and makes this a very fun listen. The story itself is complex enough to keep you guessing but entertaining enough to allow you to listen while stuck in traffic. If you want a great adventure/mystery story, this series is for you! I highly recommend it.

This is an Audible book I requested and the review is voluntary. This book takes three different events in different places and some how they come together. Lots of twists, adventure, action, and thrills as usual. Love these books. The narration was on par as usual too!

Awesome Entertainment

I was given this free review copy audio-book at my request and have voluntarily left this review. This review is for the audio copy of The Aleutian Portal - Sam Reilly, Book 8 by Christopher Cartwright and narrated by David Gilmore. Book 8 continues the adventures of Sam and Tom and company. This was very entertaining with lots of adventure, exploring and mayhem. This book had some very interesting ideas in it. It is still part of the story within the stories. David is consistent with his superlative narration.

Hooked on This Series!

An Underground Adventure

Another exciting and fun adventure in the Sam Reilly series, this time in search of a ship missing in a calm sea. Lava tunnels, sink holes, and a number of people out to stop Sam from finding answers.

It’s a great story, with excellent narration from David Gilmore. Love the way he reads this one.

Sam and his pals are tasked with finding a Russian ship that dissapeared.Of course he finds much more than anticipated!Fast paced,full of well timed humor,Sam never lets us down. David Gilmore was ,once again,a terrific narrator.I was given this book by the narrator,author or publisher free for an honest review.

Action, Adventure and Mystery

The Aleutian Portal by Christopher Cartwright is full of action, adventure, twists and turns. I absolutely love how the author is able to weave historical details and current issues into a gripping thriller. The imagery in this book is outstanding. The character of Sam Reilly is so compelling. I love how smart and perceptive he is. David Gilmore does an outstanding performance with his narration. I love how he performs the characters. There is so much going on with this wonderful book. I highly recommend it!

Stretched reality but great adventure

This book has the feel that it is leading up to a significant climax somewhere in the next book or two, with lots of long-standing plot lines converging. This one seemed a little extra far-fetched, but I have come to expect that from these now. The characters are now familiar and reliable, and you always know the heroes will win, but it is still a fun listen.

These stories are reliably entertaining, and always full of adventure and a strange blend of real and fictional science (not really science fiction).

As always, David Gilmore does a solid job with the narration.

Overall very enjoyable.

Another great read

The Aleutian Portal, my eighth read from author Christopher Cartwright & the eighth book in the highly entertaining Sam Reilly series. Well-written and captivating with well-developed main characters reminding one of Dan Brown’s writing as well as the character of Indiana Jones. Narrator David Gilmore’s narration added to the book’s enjoyment. I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. Up next is The Third Temple (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018). I’ll be reading more by this author as I already own more books in the series! (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).
