But she can't call it a night until she sees the infant safe in a hospital. Now, the hunt is on for the mother, more than likely a scared, desperate girl in need of medical attention. Armed with advice from her over-worked detective father, Cindy searches through inner-city Hollywood, following a treacherous trail filled with violent gangs and drug lords. Great new character!

This Kellerman novel focuses on Cindy Decker, Peter's daughter, who has been in the LAPD for 2 years. There are at least 2 plots, as usual with Kellerman, plus the great personal and family involvement that makes her books such enjoyable reads. Good narrator, also.

Back to the Music?

I don't care for the music playing over the talking; or better yet, why does a book have music? The story was good.
