This book might have gotten a higher rating if it wasn't over the top in some respects. The main character is an FBI forensic anthropologist who has been an agent for 10 years yet she seems to take a lot of anti-anxiety medication when she gets stressed out - which she seems to do a lot even over the smallest things and you learn the cause throughout the book. She also makes some pretty poor choices. Overall though it was a good mystery with some interesting twists and turns, some forensics and with a little romance thrown in.
Some reviewers complained about the paranormal aspect, but this is after all fiction, not non-fiction and there wasn't that much of it. It seemed more to give you a little shiver down your spine than to be a major part of the book.
The narrator could have been better at male voices and she seemed to have a couple different voices for the main character.
