Publisher's Summary

Beautiful, happily married, and the owner of a successful interior design business, Casey Marshall couldn't be more content with her life, until a car slams into her at almost 50 miles an hour, breaking nearly every bone in her body and plunging her into a coma. Lying in her hospital bed, Casey realizes that although she is unable to see or communicate, she can hear everything. She quickly discovers that her friends aren't necessarily the people she thought them to be - and that her accident might not have been an accident at all. As she struggles to break free from her living death, she begins to wonder if what lies ahead could be even worse.

I Stayed Up ALL Night Listening To This One...

This book certainly made me rethink my Health Care Proxy & I sure didn't feel like my time had been wasted with this book. Joy Fielding gripped me right in the first chapter and got right to it.

A very descriptive and seductive story line I felt the rage, anger, anxiety, loss of control and the sadness of the whole situation. It wasn't obvious who the good and bad were until the second part of the book and that's when it REALLY gets good. I seriously wanted to kick some ass at the end. The narrater was pretty impressive which made the listen extra enjoyable.

Can You Imagine Yourself

For those who can imagine themselves in the place of the heroine this is a thought provoking book. Having been deeply influences by the gossip and lies of people who posed as trustworthy I felt the sense of awakening awareness and fear portrayed by the plot. I recommend this book to those who like to think about what they would do in circumstances others experience.
