i love eveything Freeman writes, especially his audibles with narrator Joe Barrett! Didn't know this short one featured Jonathan Stride, but was pleasantly surprised. Love that series!

well told

loved this short story. It is connected to the others, but only by the relationship between Maggie and Jon. I thought it and 5.6 would have story elements in common with books five and six because of the numbering. The story was frightening and told with just enough detail to make it a good horror story.

Like an episode of ‘Criminal Minds’

Suspenseful, requires suspension of disbelief, very graphic and dramatic.

4+ hours would’ve been too much, but it works really well at this length.

Spitting Devil

The ending was not what l expected.. I would have turned him into the police as well.. Yet, they both refused to listen to their son.. He told them that he saw Carl from the beginning.

Very quick read

Enjoyed but too short, but I guess that was the idea. Looking forward to the next book.

euggg

I think this would have been better if a woman was reading it. When a story is from a woman's point of view, it is necessary.

Good but short

Love the story but wished it was longer. It took an interesting turn at the end. Narrator Joe Barrett was excellent as usual.

A deliciously creepy read!

This novella creeped me out, and I LOVED IT! Brian Freeman definitely stepped outside of the box for this one.
