Publisher's Summary

Lady Amanda Golightly receives an invitation to spend Burns' Night with friends in Scotland. Although she is dismissive of the idea, her chum Hugo is thrilled at the thought and persuades her to agree to the trip.
With Beauchamp, her long-suffering manservant, and her friend, Enid Tweedie, the four head to Rumdrummond Castle for a 'wee break'. Before long, however, murder enters their lives once more, and they begin to suspect some very dirty dealing is going on under the respectable veneer of castle life.
Bagpipes, haggis, tartan and kilts all make their appearances as dastardly deeds are done amidst a snowy landscape.

PERFECT SUNDAY AFTERNOON ENTERTAINMENT

We just adore listening to Patricia Gallimore doing her posh lady and gentlemen voices, so funny we listen all the way through her audiobooks in one go, lasting all day.

This is our third Belchester Chester Chronicle and looking forward to more in this series. Patricia is well known for her character in the great old radio show, The Archers. We could listen to her repeatedly reading her shopping list in various voices.

Professionally read, Patricia is perfect as the over stumped and up her her bloomers, Lady Amanda the upper crust sleuth who cannot help find herself in sticky situations with a murder or two included.
Good old clean fun with a naughty word or two, the best of modern British sleuthing.

Another fantastic, hysterical addition..

Where does Snowballs and Scotch Mist rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It is up at the top, along with the first two in this wonderful series.

What other book might you compare Snowballs and Scotch Mist to, and why?

You cannot compare these books to anything else, nothing touches them for hilarity.

What does Patricia Gallimore bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

Patricia makes these books work as they should, wonderful voices and the fabulous timing..make the listen addictive.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I scream with laughter.
