Unfortunately this book was hard to follow. I could not tell when it was a different character or when it changed from one time frame to another.

Depressing story, miserable characters. I couldn't make it past chapter 10. I kept waiting for something remotely climactic to happen, and page a after page just downtrodden characters. I read plenty of women's fiction. Rarely do I quit a book.

What disappointed you about Sisters One, Two, Three?
I tried several times to get into this story but could not. The story did not grip me, the characters are irritating and the American voice for the whole story is not to my taste. I prefer an english voice but as the story is set in the US then it of course would be best in a US accent just that I do not like to listen to a whole story with an US accent.
Would you ever listen to anything by Nancy Star again?
I don't know what her usual accent is, but not as another US read.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
It was the narrator and the characters that I found difficult to get into.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
