Editorial Reviews

Peter Hosking gives an engaging performance of Geoff McGeachin’s thrilling crime novel Sensitive New Age Spy. Special Agent Alby Murdoch wants nothing more than a good cup of coffee and time to relax. Unfortunately, a tanker carrying deadly cargo in Sydney Harbor gets hijacked and there’s a shootout on a U.S. Navy cruiser. The body count’s up to three, someone’s made off with a Seahawk chopper, and it’s unclear who is responsible for this mess. The government wants Alby out. But why? Meanwhile, his trust issues are challenged by Lieutenant Kingston, a weapons specialist with a spectacular body.

Publisher's Summary

All Alby wants is a decent coffee and a day off. But there's a hijacked tanker with a deadly cargo in Sydney Harbor, and bullets are flying on board a U.S. Navy cruiser. Three sailors are dead and a Seahawk chopper is missing. Who's behind the mayhem? Why is the government intent on shutting down Alby's investigation? What's the connection to the smooth-talking Reverend Priday, spiritual leader to the upwardly mobile? And can Alby trust Lieutenant Kingston, a weapons specialist with the longest legs he's ever seen on a sailor and not a tattoo anywhere on her stunning body? Special agent Alby Murdoch, reluctant hero of the riotous D-E-D Dead!, is right back in the thick of things in another hilarious romp.

A delightful read

Sensitive New Age Spy, Alby Murdoch and his adventures, is well worth the time. I found the characters real, the plot involved enough to be intriguing but not too complicated, and sprinklings of tongue-in-cheek humor to bring chuckles to this reader. I am delighted with the main character and look forward to more adventures of this Crocodile Dundee type spy guy.
Peter Hosking as Alby Murdoch brings the whole book to life. Let's hear more Peter.

Another hit!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Absolutely. The story line is fun; the characters are decently developed; the narrator has a pleasant voice and right for this story.

What does Peter Hosking bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I love his accent. It sounds like he had fun making this audiobook. His voice fits the plot, setting, and characters.

Any additional comments?

Thank you, Mr. McGeachin, for another fabulous read!
