SUSPENSE is a revival of 'radio's outstanding theatre of thrills', which ran from 1942-1962. Featuring a mix of original scripts and adaptations of pulp-era short fiction, all performed by our crack company of Hollywood talent, this new version of an old classic is well-calculated to keep you in...SUSPENSE!
Blue Hours Productions acting company presents a work by the "locked room mystery" master John Dickson Carr. "The Devil's Saint" was created for a 1942 radio broadcast, and, through sound and effects, this performance of the melodrama and most unsettling love story perfectly recaptures the sense of an old-time radio suspense thriller. As the Jazz Age is winding down, an English lord requests permission of a Hungarian count to marry his niece. Despite reservations, the count agrees not to stand in the way, although he does encourage the lord to pass a test: sleep alone in a room that was once the scene of a murder.
