A calculating killer who calls himself The Teacher is taking on New York City, killing the powerful and the arrogant. His message is clear: remember your manners or suffer the consequences! For some, it seems that the rich are finally getting what they deserve. For New York's elite, it is a call to terror.

Only one man can tackle such a high-profile case: Detective Mike Bennett. The pressure is enough for anyone, but Mike also has to care for his ten children-all of whom have come down with virulent flu at once!

Discovering a secret pattern in The Teacher's lessons, Detective Bennett realizes he has just hours to save New York from the greatest disaster in its history.

Patterson delivers a roller coaster ride!

I have a hard time staying with a book that doesn't grab me in the first chapter. This is why I adore anything written by James Patterson, I wasn't familiar with Mr Ledwidge but his writing only complemented Mr. Pattersons. Their new book "Run For Your Life" is no exception. From the moment we meet the villian til the absolutely hair rising ending, this book grabs you and doesn't let go. I've always preferred Alex Cross to any of his characters but now have a pretty big crush on Mike Bennett also. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with this one.

Great Patterson/Ledwidge Bennett book!

Love all the Michael Bennett series! One thing I love about these books is the narratives from the two perspectives and the use of two different narrators. This was full of suspense and unsuspecting turns. But I do say that I am slightly partial to Mastrogorgio than Cannavale but they both can connect with the Irish heart of the New Yorker Michael Bennett!

Gruesome and gory.

Gruesome and gory but couldn't put in down. Don't let your children listen. It would be too scary for them.

Not as good as I expect from Patterson

This was a good read, but too short for me. I like longer books that are more developed and I was a bit disappointed in the book not making more of the issues.
