sharp story line

A really good listen, fast moving, interesting plot, likeable characters. I'm not a mystery book fan, but this kept me hooked, wanting more. My only problem, was keeping all the character names clear.

A Smooth Stone and a Giant...

The threads of the Jesse Stone fabric became more apparent in this story, nicely woven together by R.F.Coleman. My favorite story thus far...well done!

Getting old sometimes has its advantages

I very much enjoyed this book. I find I always enjoy Robert Parker’s books. I read text books and business magazines for so many years that I enjoy reading for pleasure. If I have forgotten the book, I am 76 yrs old, I have the pleasure of reading it again.

Great story for a very long commute!

James Naughton makes the audiobook that much better. He's the voice in your head when you read a book like this.

Jesse Stone’s latest book

I really enjoyed this book because I’m not able to read right now due to cataracts in Both eyes. I love James NAUGHTON, narration of this wonderful story. The topic was extremely appropriate at this time in our culture as we deal with racism in our world. I recommend the book to all.

The book kept me hooked....
Sadly, wish we can have a break from politics and racial tensions...overwhelmed with it by news,FB, and everyday living....would have been nice to escape it ,instead of drowning in it some more with my favorite character and story line.
Also saddened by the feel towards the end, that our wayward but favorite character Jesse Stone may be coming to a close......

A good read with a deeper plot than the surface. so many faces of modern humanity in peril. movie ready. where's t. selleck?

Coleman is amazing.

As a Parker fan for decades, I find Coleman’s creation of his characters and style superlative. Character development and stories are spot on.

And special thanks to narrator James Naughton for his special ability to bring it all to life.

story not to bad however kind of slow not enough action to keep one interested. The reading of this book is very dry. Need to find someone who has ability to change his voice for the different characters.
