A Little simplistic for me
The main character has a police/investigator background, yet get's attacked by surprise and doesn't follow what you would think would be good police/investigator practices. Her husband works undercover for the FBI, yet gets surprised also. The part of the story related to being in boats and on the water was weak, in my opinion. And the who-done-it was a surprise only because it was unrealistic. There was a bit of religious preaching that was a little corny, a little too much for the situation.
