James Patterson leads you into the darkest recesses of the mind with this chilling, immersive audio thriller. We meet Brent Quill, a frustrated actor trying to take his game to the next level. When he learns about the intensive Method acting process, he dives in deep—and immediately lands the lead role in a TV series about a brutal serial killer. slow!
One of the worst books ever by James Patterson. I usually love the Private Series. Not this one. Slow and boring.

Not one of his best
Unlike a true Patterson Novel. On and on and on with way too many words and no Intrigue.

Not up to par for this author. Was very disappointed. Murder was solved early on and the rest of this book was Morgan’s quest to get Flex to avenge Jane. Will think twice before I purchase another Private novel.

Good not great
Definitely recommend if your a Private fan. But, I have the impression Patterson’s writers skipped through the in-depth work that draws readers into feeling like they are right there in the room with the characters in a rush to publish.

Not one a great Private Novel
I have to agree with others that say the narration is not good quality. The loudness varies to the point that I am changing the volume a lot and probably missing some things as I'm driving. The story seemed to be over half way through the book so another storyline was created. I am a huge James Patterson fan but not sure he participated in this one. I usually love his books - all of the different series, including Private - but this one was a disappointment. If I didn't have a six hour drive and needed entertainment, I would not have listened to the entire novel.

Best of the series
I loved this private book the best. It was suspenseful and kept me up until the wee hours of the night listening and hanging on to every word.
