Publisher's Summary

Cisco Suarez versus an entire Caribbean drug cartel. Round one. Fight.
Okay, not exactly the most even championship match, but it's the one I drew. If you told me months ago I'd be robbing drug dealers, I would've committed you myself. Who needs that kind of trouble, right?
The good news is I'm only after one man: Connor Hatch. The bad news is he's the new Pablo Escobar, a primal being, and all but untouchable.
It gets worse. He's rounding up the Russian mob for something big, and I'm not the only spellslinger in the picture. They say follow the money or follow the drugs. Maybe I should keep an eye on who's following me.
Some problems call for a delicate hand. I don't have those kinds of problems.

Great Addition to the Black Magic Outlaw Series

Powder Trade is a great continuation of the highly enjoyable Black Magic Outlaw series. The series as a whole has been highly enjoyable and is easily my favorite Urban Fantasy series. Cisco is a highly relatable protagonist, and his constant one liners kept me laughing throughout the book. Unfortunately, it felt like his attitude was toned down a bit for this book. Either way, I thoroughly enjoyed following Cisco on his quest to destroy the entire Miami drug trade. As with the previous books, the action starts early and kept me engaged throughout the entire novel. Neil Hellegers does another great job with this novel. He uses a wide variety of voices and accents to bring all the characters to life, and I couldn’t imagine anyone else voicing Cisco. In the end, this book is a great continuation of the series and I can’t wait for book five.

Great character development and storyline continue

Any additional comments?

There is not much that can be said since it is the 4th book in the series. However, I found the characters and story continue to grow and develop. I loved the interaction and action between Cisco, the Spanaird, Connor, Evan, Emily and Melina. I really liked the action scenes and how Cisco dealt what was happening to him and those around him. Another good ending leaving me wanting to know what is going to happen next.
