Fantastic classic drama

I want to first start off by saying I am new to Philip Odell classical detective drama. Although I never been around in the time this was introduced in the radio, I still like it. I am a fan of old classical detective drama. I actually am a collector to this and hope to find other like this as well. I am proud that I purchase this and listen to this drama. I hope I get to see in the future that audible has more Philip Odell cases in radio drama form.

GOOD OLD CLEAN ENTERTAINMENT FROM THE PAST

This is an excellent listen for a lazy afternoon when you just need to flip out on the couch and relax for a few hours.

Good old English entertainment at its best. Should you like Paul Temple and Stevie, you are in for a good murder mystery as they made them way back in the old Hollywood style of the 40's & 50's.

Excellently produced. Great actors in the way they did it in the olden days! No modern larks here. Lots of characters to choose from to keep you on your toes for 'who did it & why'. Look forward to more of this type of drama.

A very good serial

I really enjoyed this story and was surprised to find that it didn't seem dated considering it was recorded in the 50's. Some very good actors Robert Beatty and Mary Wimbush. If I had to find fault it is a small, one explained at the beginning Philip O'Dell had spent some tome in USA, the Irish accent sometimes disappeared.
