RVing is not for the Faint of Heart

Where does Peete and Repeat rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Is it Shakespeare? Is it Michael Connelly? No, it isn't... but, that's not a bad thing! This is well plotted, with characters that you become very fond of throughout the outstanding series. Mystery that itches to be solved. Settings and circumstances that call out to me, anyway.

What other book might you compare Peete and Repeat to and why?

The other books in the Frannie Shoemaker series.

What about Michelle Babb’s performance did you like?

Michelle appropriately keeps the story and characters moving. I can visualize the action taking place. Her voice work adds to and doesn't detract from a listener's enjoyment.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Fishing pole, check... camping stove, check... body bags, check...

Any additional comments?

I have many of this series on my Kindle as e books. The audio versions are all well done and my suggestion is, if you enjoy light mysteries, to check this series out.

It will draw you in and delight you

My boyfriend got upset with me for listening to this book.
You see, he was messaging me to bring food and I didn't notice, because there is a murder and Frannie has a hunch on who did it and she may be in danger aaaaand the story just completely sucked me in. So I bought him food and two extra Kinder chocolate bars to appease him. He's delightfully cranky when he's hungry :)

Well anyway, this story is how I picture the Famous Five as pensioners. Going on adventures in their trailers, unmistakably running into mysteries. I liked the writing and the story a lot. I was just surprised when it ended. It may benefit from a stronger reveal. Hercule Poirot style, maybe :)

Easy writing, good plotting, quirky characters, a wonderful narrator. It's got everything a cozy mystery should have. Somebody should film this series :D
