Publisher's summary

After capturing the notorious Fort Worth "Tunabomber", Megan and Brigit are practically celebrities. Which is why the police chief lassoed them into doing rodeo duty - mostly as a public relations stunt for the department.

Megan's not a fan of calf roping, bull riding, or goat milking contests. But when a thief appears to be working the circuit, her trusty K-9 partner starts sniffing for clues.... The culprit is Robin Hood, a young Texas golddigger who steals from the rich to give to the poor - namely herself.

With Brigit hot on the trail, Megan has to juggle her on-again, off-again reputation in the FWPD with her on-again, off-again relationship with sexy bomb-squader Seth Rutledge. This time Megan is determined to rope in her suspect and her man...before chaos and/or her trusted furry partner is unleashed.

So fun! Cute story

Enjoy this series. It is lighthearted and fun! The dog makes me laugh and the characters are likable. It’s a fun read without too much blood and guts.

Great dog story with a nice human complement

What did you love best about Paw and Order?

Great little romance for the humans and the dogs, but not to goofy and stupid.

What other book might you compare Paw and Order to and why?

If you like Diane Kelly, you will like Donna Ball's Raine Stockton series.

My Review of Paw & Order

I enjoyed the first book, much more than this one, The story here was much weaker
Didn’t much care for the narrator would like to have a woman and man narrating

Four Paws Up

I love how K9 Brigit had her own point of view, and how she and Megan gradually learned to trust each other at work and at home.

Some suspense and humor; no graphic violence or sex. entertaining for all ages and a must read for dog lovers. Love the entire series!

Fur and Fort Worth

Fun little dollop of a mystery. It is entertaining and not gory. Set in Fort Worth, it is a nice blend of dogs and cowboys.
Unfortunately, the narrator is not familiar with the correct pronunciations of several streets, cities and other locales. That is disconcerting and distracting to anyone familiar with the Fort Worth-Dallas area.

Good story with dogs

I love dogs so that was a big plus in this story, although I would say the dogs do have a big part in the story, it's not so big as to put off non dog lovers, and not as big as I would have expected - not like a Chet and Bernie mystery which is mainly dog, more like an Andy Carpenter book where the dogs are an integral part but the mystery and human characters are in the forefront. There are a few very brief, scattered chapters that give the dog's point of view but as I said, very brief and very few, so it seemed almost an afterthought than part of the story. However, I immensely enjoyed the book - kind of like a Stephanie Plum book although not quite as funny, and with a dog.
