Publisher's Summary

What if the Pope and the Roman Catholic Church had a secret order of warrior monks who could do his bidding? And what if said order was tasked, by the Pope himself, to find the terrorists who were not only focused on killing Catholic priests, but using them to gain entry into the United States?
The Holy See approaches US president Brandon Zimmer with his dilemma, asking for assistance in the matter. Who else would Zimmer choose to aid the warrior monks other than former Marine Cal Stokes and his team at the Jefferson Group?

High octane suspense thriller

Papal Justice is Book 10 in author C.G. Cooper's Corps Justice series. This novel is OK listening as a time filler. It gets an extra star for the author's creativity in selecting a plot line that is extremely unlikely and then making it work. The plot line includes a Mideastern terrorist leader and his group, the pope and a few cardinals, the US president and his chief of staff, a group of ex-US Marines operating under the authorization of the president, and a Mexican drug cartel leader and his men. Narration is okay.

Not impressed

All of C.G. Cooper’s books have been so good, but this one lacked something. It seemed to be a little slow, lots of talking and lots and lots of chuckling. Not sure if we will continue on to book eleven.
