Fun listen

Entertaining. Easy to pick up where you leave off. Fun mindless listening for when you just don't want to think that much but be entertained

A great story to listen to while driving, a bedtime story, or when working on a project or craft. It’s easy to follow with not too many complicated twists or characters.

Excellent story line and characters, Stephanie Bond is such an creative writter. I would have loved to seen how they would have dealt with that husband if given a chance, but this way was golden. Iwould highly recommend this Book and Audible original

Love to rad/listen

Awesome cute story. Totally enjoyed the story. The humorous mystery kept my attention without gory grim details. The narrators were perfect for each character. The mystery was left open till the end. This is a perfect story for tv.

Funny listen!

Some parts are kinda predictable, but great listen anyway; HOWEVER you will not know whodunnit until the end! I am listening to it again. You always catch something you missed the first go round,

This has several LOL parts to it! Other parts make you say "awwww......Bless her heart!"

Very Formulaic

I have now read 5 of Stephanie Bond’s books. I love the Mojo Louisiana stories but have not really enjoyed any of the others. Our Husband is another piece of junk about 3 women unknowingly married to the same man. The three women are so generic it crossing the line into stereotypes. The “blonde rich bitch” who is really a poor little rich girl who has no friends. Of course she doesn’t cause she is a rude snob. The “limp brown haired workaholic” who is basically a “door mat” throughout except her love interest to whom she is bitchy and unappreciative. The “red-headed hick stripper” who is really immature for a 21 year old. The girl watches cartoons and eats kid’s cereal. Her lack of knowledge borders on making her look stupid versus just uneducated. This book is not romantic or humorous and I wish they wouldn’t be sold that way. Most of the characters treat each other horribly. So with 3 of Stephanie Bond’s book about multiple women characters in mysterious situations, I have to say they are the same – the characters are stereotypes, the author uses someone disability or lack of education to try to be the source of humor, the women treat their love interests horribly but the love interests still fall head over heels, all of the characters are put through humiliating situations over and over until they just happen to trip over the solution to the mystery.

Predictable and a bit corny.

Would you try another book from Stephanie Bond and/or Maureen Jones and VOplanet Studios ?

Not sure, but if other books are similar to this one, then probably not.

Ruby. The narration was good. If not for the standard of how the characters were portrayed I would have given up on the book much earlier.

What character would you cut from Our Husband?

I don't think the book could afford to drop anyone.

The police were portrayed as sexist and stupid. Guess they had to be portrayed that way or the story could not work. The women characters although very different to each other were portrayed as completely gullible even though one was a doctor and one moneyed. I struggled to believe these two asked no questions about the husband. The third was written as stupid.
