Publisher's summary

In the next thrilling novel in the number-one New York Times best-selling Mitch Rapp series, the anti-terrorism operative heads to Pakistan to confront a mortal threat he may not be prepared for. In fact, this time he might have met his match.

Mitch Rapp is used to winning.

But in this follow-up to number-one New York Times best-selling The Survivor, the CIA operative finds himself chasing false leads from continent to continent in an effort to keep Pakistani nukes from falling into the hands of terrorists. Together with friend and colleague Scott Coleman, Rapp struggles to prevent the loss of these lethal weapons, particularly because Russia is also interested in the nukes, though not for the same reason as Rapp and Coleman.

Soon, it becomes alarmingly clear that the forces in Moscow are bent on fomenting even more chaos and turmoil in the Middle East and Rapp must go deep into Russian territory, posing as an American ISIS recruit. There, he uncovers a plan much more dangerous and insidious than he ever expected, one that could have far-reaching and catastrophic consequences.

Written with the same breathless tension and heart-racing action as Vince Flynn's greatest novels, Mitch Rapp's latest adventure is as timely and provocative as ever.

Not bad Mr. Mills.

I loved the story line. Typical Mitch Rapp. Hammer down from start to finish. The only complaint I have is it was too short. Not enough interaction between characters. I would be more specific but I don't want to spoil it for anybody. I can't wait to see where you take the story next. Great job Mr. Mills. Mr Guidall is masterful as usual.

Well done Kyle Mills

As a long time Mitch Rapp fan I was hesitant to keep following the series after Mills took over the writing, but after this book I'm firmly back on board. This book has it all, political intrigue, fast paced action, and Mitch Rapp at his best. I can't wait for the next installment!

Brilliant

I'm generally critical of authors who, for various reasons, take over someone else's series. But in my opinion, Kyle Mills has seamlessly picked up the pen Vince Flynn sadly had to put down. I could not tell a difference between writing styles - and I was expecting just the opposite. I didn't care for Kyle Mills original books - but this was fantastic.

Ignore the negative reviews here - if you're a Rapp fan, there's a 99.99% chance you'll love this.

Best series yet

The best series I've listened to in a long while. The story line, the detailes, all of it. The first few books repeated details of characters (something that annoyed me) but over all 👍👍👍

Kyle Mills continues the Franchise

Kyle Mills does a good job of in capturing the essence of Mitch Rapp and the other recurring characters. Although, some decisions are , shall we say, uncharacteristic of Vince Flynn's style.
Kyle seems to put his own spin.
The plotline while contrived (which thriller isn't?) is current with ISIS and a Russian tyrant that is inspired by Putin. And Rapp has a very capable new (perhaps recurring) nemesis to challenge him following the death of Louie Gould in the previous installment.
As always, George Guidall is excellent. His narration and command of several nuanced characters lends to a sense of continuity extending from the previous Flynn novels.
The pacing is quick and the suspense nearly constant.
All in all, very entertaining.

I need Mitch in my life...

If you could sum up Order to Kill in three words, what would they be?

Mitch is my hero. wait that's four…
Another worldwide crisis narrowly escaped thanks to Dr. Kennedy and Mitch. I enjoyed this one because we're starting to see the venerability of Mitch and his team as well as getting a small dose of the realities of going up against outrageous villains. Kyle, thanks for not making it all rainbows and sunshine. and please keep the series going. Mitch is my hero. If I didn't have him to keep me company at 35,000 and and oceans from home I'm not sure how i'd make it. Which btw is why i love these stories so much. I cover the miles Mitch does but my life is far less thrilling

What other book might you compare Order to Kill to and why?

Mitch Rapp novels can only be compared to other Mitch Rapp novels. they don't contain the glamour of a James Bond story or the invincibility of a Jack Reacher novel. Despite the fact he's left handed Mitch is in a class all on his own.

What about George Guidall’s performance did you like?

Like many of my favorite readers George makes the book. Readers like George help you get truly lost in the story. Thanks George, keep taking us to desperate situations, thrilling chases and deep into the heart of Mitch.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

unfortunately I'm not that creative but if and when Mitch Rapp novels are made into movies they sure as heck better not be about the explosions and the cleavage. keep Mitch, Mitch!

AWESOME

Riveting story. Kyle Mills captures the essence of the characters seemlessly. Vince Flynn would be proud. Cannot wait for the next installment

Mitch Rapp at his best

I have read them all, at times you can get lost in the detail, but 'Order To Kill' hits all the right spots for me
