Less I want you in me would be great

I enjoyed the story but it was ruined by all of the sexual overtones, if I wanted that I would waste my time with 50 shades of gray.

Do women really like this? Gag me.

It started out sort of sci-fi-y with Margaret's special ability and all, then added some mystery, escape, run from the bad guys stuff. That was all great.

Then it devolved into sexual attraction with your captor, and he's all overcome by your wit and intelligence, and some other special quality he just can't put his finger on. And of course Margaret was the best little sex slave the real bad guy had ever had, blah blah blah. I do not condone this shades-of-gray, every woman wants to be ravished by the man who truly cherishes her after he's known her for 7 hours sort of story. I certainly don't want to listen to 13 hours of it.

But, hey, if that's what floats your boat, the narrator is great.

Recording was too low, too whispered.

The book was very good, great story. My issue was with the recording. I purchase audible books to listen on a variety of devices, and seldom, if ever, have issues. Throughout this recording, the narrator dropped her voice so low, whispered a great deal of dialogue that I missed much drama detail. I would pre-review any further recordings of this author or narrator for this issue as it greatly distracts from the performance.

Bad Steven Segal movie narrated

The heroine had the maturity of a 10 year old. The leading man was Steven Segal in any of his movies. All action no substance no emotion.

I was excited to see this was a story that included the dogs. However, animals play a minuscule role in the story. But not give it away- because maybe you like Steven Segal movies- you have a super hero who will not use her super powers.

I hat to not finish a book. That is the only reason I finished it.

I did not like the narrators voices for the various characters. She helped perpetuate the Steven Segal image.

Iris johansen rocks, but autible destroyed the boo

Would you listen to No Easy Target again? Why?

No, the volume was awful, i had it turned up to max and couldn't even hear 80% of the story, there were times I couldn't understand what was happening because I couldn't hear the narrator

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Elisabeth Rodgers?

Someone who knows how to use the mic...

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No. But the story it self was great, i read it on Amazon, and enjoyed the book itself.

not awesome

I didn't love the story line or the ending. I was annoyed by the one word statements throughout the book. And the Male main character was too aggressive to "get the girl". I kept waiting for the end.. it dragged on.

Horrible, horrible, and more horrible!

The concept of a kidnapping victim feeling affection for her kidnapper makes me sick! I couldn't finish this drivel! I wish I could have given it no stars.
