Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would recommend this book. Although slow to start, the story gained momentum and grew in suspense. I was on the edge of my seat until the end. The author keeps us guessing who the killer is throughout the book. I didn't know from one chapter to the next if she was going to introduce another suspect.
Have you listened to any of Lori J. Moran’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No. This was my first by her.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I loved the growing romance between Joyce and James. It was sweet and proper. We don't see that too often anymore.
Any additional comments?
I loved the overall story, and the compassion Joyce shows toward her patients, and her determination to stop the killer. This is my second book by Sandra Olson I've listened to, and while I felt it could have a stronger start, the second half of the book captured me. I'm glad I continued listening.
