Publisher's Summary

Welcome to Nocturne Falls, the town that celebrates Halloween 365 days a year.
Jayne Frost is a lot of things. Winter elf, Jack Frost's daughter, Santa Claus' niece, heir to the Winter Throne, and now private investigator. Sort of.
When Lark Bramble, an old frenemy, shows up in Nocturne Falls, Jayne finds herself reliving the painful past and trying to make responsible decisions that won’t mess up her future. But being an adult proves harder than she thought.
Finally at peace with where things stand between her and Lark, Jayne thinks everything’s cool until a chilling event at the Black and Orange Ball shatters that peace and puts Jayne at odds with the powers that be. She knows she’s on thin ice, but she’s determined to crack the caper.
Can Jayne find a way to right the wrongs she might have caused, or will she forever bear the guilt of allowing herself to be snowed again?

Loved this book!

I am new to audio books but I really enjoyed this one the voice was great for these characters and very easy to follow along with. I have already read the other books in this series so the storyline was familiar to me Jane is a winter Princess and gets into all sorts of trouble.! Great mystery in this one loved how she had to work through her past with her frenemy! well worth listening to made my hand sewing time go faster.

Fun and quirky!

I enjoyed this book. It's lively and quirky as the first two books were. I like how the writing is nice and tight, without the repeats and excessive sentence of other writers. I loved the narrator she has the perfect voice for this story.

Another Excellent Jayne Frost Mystery.

This series continues to delight and entertain. It's much my preferred form of Nocturne Falls fix, so long may it continue.
