Elizabeth Lowell's suspenseful romances always deliver, and Midnight in Ruby Bayou, Book Four in the Donavan series is no exception. Robin Rowan's seductive performance casts a spell of both sensuality and danger. Will Faith Donavan be able to get the rubies she needs to craft her exquisite jewelry? The answer may be in the hands of Owen Walker, a man she doesn't trust, but is strangely attracted to. When they dare broach the secrets of the Montegeaus of Ruby Bayou, they are drawn into the mystery and danger of hidden treasure. This installment of the Donavan series will not disappoint.

Good Series

I enjoyed this series, They were suspensful as well as romantic. The twin brothers were mentioned in every series, but never showed up at any family events, I wonder whether EL ever plans to write a story for them. I would love to hear them. The narrator is good as well.

Ruby Bayou

This is a long time favorite. I’ve read the book a dozen times at least. So happy to see it in audio book form. The narrator did a pretty good job. Some of her voice choices were confusing, but overall I was happy with the listening experience.
