Publisher's Summary

Donovan Creed, a former CIA assassin, is a very tough man with a weakness for very easy women. Meet him in LETHAL PEOPLE a relentlessly entertaining crime novel that's often LOL funny! The action is fast and furious, the dialogue smart, savvy and sexy, and the story is filled with quirky characters and clever surprises. What more could you want when you turn the last page except the next Donovan Creed crime novel? Patience, please. You'll be reading Creed's next adventure in the very near future. Lucky you!

Truly Lethal

Do you like really bad action movies? Then there is a possibility this is for you. The majority, however, will find this really dire. It is one of the worst books I have ever read or listened to. The characterisation is that of a comic book and includes mad dwarves out to rule the world, a stereotypically ugly giant of a man, and an unsympathetic hero who is an amoral assassin. The plot (what there is of it) is nonsense in the extreme and involves a corpse which comes to life and is then killed again, blown up buildings killing hundreds and that army of circus dwarves pitted against a crime lord. The dialogue is supposed to be hard-bitten but laughably resembles that of a bad 50s b-movie. The whole thing would be funny if it didn't take itself so seriously. I can hardly believe something this awful was ever published. Does the 'Book 1' of the title mean there is more of this rubbish to come? For me the only good thing about it is the title = it really is lethal.
