A mixed bag

This review is challenging, I have very mixed feelings about this book, so I'm going to try to give a balanced opinion of it.

The narration was excellent, the character voices were convincing and easy to recognize, the overall delivery matched the tone of the story. Whoever edited the audio left in a number of small mistakes, while each is only a few seconds this was a bit annoying.

I was impressed with the detail in the story, particularly relating to the forgeries, the explanations on how they could be done were comprehensive and interesting.

The story overall is also detailed and there are some good twists.

I found the title weird, Bobbi Lomax played quite a small role in the book, this was strange and unexpected, I kept waiting for it to have significance and it didn't make it in my mind.

While the story was interesting I wasn't absorbed by it and a couple of times i checked to see how much more there was to go, I was ready for it to end by about half way through. I'm not sure why, there's nothing wrong with the book, it just turned out that it's not my cup of tea.

I received a free copy of this book from the author and/or narrator and/or publisher and I voluntarily wrote this honest review.

Good plot & narrator brings it home

Premise of book was good and some good twists. Title of the book lead to some confusion for me as I looked for more of "Bobbi" being a main character but overall it was enjoyable. Narrator did well at separating out characters and lends a mesmerizing quality to the storyline as a whole.
