Absolutely beautiful !!

Thank you for the beautiful story, it is so lovely to read/hear the type of book I love (suspense/crime) AND to so eloquently put the gospel into it that anyone can identify with a mother's love, which I think is the closest example of God's Love for us - whether we accepted Him yet or not! May God bless you with many more lovely stories. The narrator-ship was very well done too!

Not engaged

This book lost me when her son gets kidnapped and the same night she's able to eat pizza and go to sleep. Followed by lobster dinners and a new relationship all why her son is missing?

I actually found myself fast forwarding this book, not engaged.

The narrator doesn't help, with her monotone voice which seems to drone on.

Good book. Narration...not so good.

What made the experience of listening to Journey to Redemption the most enjoyable?

The story was terrific.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the mystery and suspense.

What didn’t you like about Willow J. Scott’s performance?

She sounded like a college student who ended every sentence with a question mark. There wasn't believable character differences.

I didn't think Ms Patrick could write a bad story.

I was wrong. plus this was the most sophomoric narration I've ever had the agany of listening to. Sorry, I'm just saying.

Worst performance I’ve heard in a while

I like Anne Patrick’s books, so I stuck it out to the end, but the narrator was really bad in my opinion. I don’t even know how to describe the problems I had with it, but you’ll hear it within the first few minutes or so. There were also errors in the production with glitches in the sound and repeated phrases. I rarely take the time for a review, but I had to say something about this one!

Great story, horrible narrator

I enjoy Anne Patrick's writing and this was another great story by her. However, the story was killed by horrible narration. The narrator was monotone, I am not even sure they took a breath between sentences. It was hard to tell when different people were talking or when a new chapter started. It mostly sounded like one giant run on sentence. I recommend the story, but wish audible had a way to remind you that you don't like a narrator when you purchase because I don't want to listen to this narrator again.

About the reading....

The story was great but the reading performance was terrible!!! Hard to make out character changes and sentence endings.

Love Anne Patrick - Terrible narrator

Such a great story but ruined by narrator. It was painful to just finish the book! Go back to using Leonor A Woodworth - she's fabulous.
