Publisher's Summary

Private investigator Jade O'Reilly thought her worst Christmas dilemma involved finding the perfect gift for her significant other. That was before she agreed to help Agnes Sturgis, the crankiest old biddy in all of Sweetwater, NC. Every day, for the 12 days leading up to Christmas, Agnes wakes up to a yard filled with Christmas decorations. But in Agnes's opinion, "they're not decorations; they're property damage!"
Finding the person responsible for the scenes of yuletide merriment that Agnes demolishes every morning is not easy. With stealth and skill that rival Santa's elves, the decorator strikes Agnes's yard and eludes Jade and her surveillance equipment. Will Jade catch the decorator before Christmas morning?

ABSOLUTELY LOVED💕More Please Tamara Ward😍😍😍😍

🎄Perfect Any Season🎄

Jade, a young PI, has been hired to find out who keeps decorating 'Angry' Agnes' lawn. A bunch of funny follies ensue.

Tamara Ward is a 'new to me' author. Written in the style of Marian Keys' Helen Walsh or Janet Evonivich's Stephanie Plum-I smiled for an entire hour.

I love this book! I'm anxious to listen to all of Jade O'Reilly's adventures.

I liked Julie Hoverson's performance. I did speed it up, as is my preference.

*I received this work in exchange for my review; good, bad or meh. I've written all 3 kinds. This is a huge GOOD-FANTASTIC-GREAT!

A Good Story Ruined by Narration

Jade O'Reilly was a really good short story but it was very hard to listen to with the narration.

Julie Hoverson has what it takes to be a good reader but I thought this sounded too harsh with too many different accents. It was distracting from the story. A straight read would've been better. Every time Agnes spoke, it was like nails on a chalkboard.
