Publisher's Summary

A killer is loose on the streets of Mildenheath, and his barbaric crimes seem a little too familiar....
As the body count begins to rise, DS Wendy Knight and DCI Jack Culverhouse start to realize that the killer is emulating the gruesome, grisly murders of the world's most famous and elusive serial killer: Jack the Ripper.
With Culverhouse struggling to come to terms with his ex-wife's dramatic return after she disappeared eight and a half years earlier and Knight trying to cope with the trauma she's suffered following devastating events of two previous cases, the race is on to stop the killer before he completes his final kill and retreats back into the darkness.
They know he's going to kill again, but they don't know where or who his next victim will be. And what's worse, they don't know who he is either.
Jack Be Nimble is a gripping, fast-paced serial killer thriller which will captivate fans of Peter James, Ian Rankin and Mark Billingham.

Book 3

What did you love best about Jack Be Nimble?

This is the 3rd book in this series and it is a great addition to a great series's. When murdered victims start turning up in the same way and dates perfect to the 1888 Jack the Ripper although in a different part of the country. This book starts fast paced and never lets up until the end. Totally enjoyed all 3 books in the series

Have you listened to any of Nigel Patterson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes. One of my favorite narrator

Awesome read and Awesome narration..

I know a lot of you are really offended by the F-bomb but I have to tell you, every time Culverhouse threw it out there in a fit of anger there couldn’t have been a better word used. And he was awesome in his angry! He was so PO’d at the Jack the Ripper copy-cat he couldn’t even see straight. All while he was trying to keep his cool with his wife that had disappeared 8 ½ years ago then suddenly showed up at his house at midnight, without the daughter she took off with, who was 3 ½ at the time of their departure. What a witch she was.

There was so much going on in this book and I loved every second of it. This is my favorite so far. And once again you had no idea who the killer was until almost the very end.

As usual there was no sex, or anything that felt like it, BUT the F-bomb was used 83 times.

As to the narrator: Nigel Patterson was absolutely fantastic. He gets better and better with his female voices but his emotions are just awesome. I mean, he laughed, he cried, whispered, yelled, anything that was called for.
