Little Boy Blue (Book #5) Continuation.

What did you love best about Hide and Seek?

This was not as enjoyable as Little Boy Blue. Something is lost when Helen is not interacting with her co-workers regularly. It makes for a monotone read.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

I think the most interesting thing is that Aldridge has managed to stretch this character for 6 fairly enjoyable books. I think characters have to be REALLY interesting to sustain a series. Helen's personal baggage is starting to really get old, however, and I may not continue the series after this.

Which character – as performed by Elizabeth Bower – was your favorite?

I really like Charlie but, as most of the leads in these books are female, after a while they all started to sound the same.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Not particularly. I think they've become formulaic. They're still good but not as good as some other police procedurals.

Any additional comments?

N/A.

Helen Grace does it again!

I am enthralled with the Helen Grace series. Nail biting to the max. The strong performance of Elizabeth Bower makes all the difference. She could read the phone book to me and I would be entranced!

Who done it

So many suspects so little time. I swear everywhere she turned there was a new suspect. I enjoyed the book but questioned the choice for the killer.
