THE CITY OF ANGELS HAS A STALKER

Adult movie actress Raven Lane is one of the most lusted after women in America, with millions of fans to prove it. But when a headless corpse turns up in the trunk of her car, she realizes that fame carries a terrible price.

Fearing for her life, and with the LAPD seemingly unable to protect her, Raven turns to former military bodyguard Ryan Lock for help. As events spiral out of control, Lock is drawn into a dangerous world where money rules, sex is a commodity to be bought and sold, and no one can be trusted, least of all his beautiful new client.

Ryan Lock hit a girdlock in this story

It's refreshing to see the 3rd book of the Ryan Lock series takes a different story arc from the previous ones. Instead of a hired security for a corporation or government agency, Ryan Lock was contracted by a civilian this time around. The book had potential but I question some of the major decisions made by Lock, given that he was supposed to be one of the best in the industry. Also, the sequence of events at the end felt rushed and didn't follow the same realism as the rest of the book (felt like seasons 6-8 from Game of Thrones), and frankly forgettable. With that said, I look forward to listening to the next instalment and see how this significant story twist might impact Lock's psychic and actions.

Disappointed!

Very dissapointed at the death of one of the characters and the cold way it was portrayed.
