I DON'T SEE THE WORLD LIKE YOU DO.
This is a borderline five star. It is three novellas. The first story is the best and the second is pretty good and the third and longest is okay. I am a horror fan and the first story is just that. All the stories have twists that you don't see coming. Although, if I watched the show or read any more stories, I think I would see the twists coming, as the same plot structure is repeated for each story.
I am a bit conflicted with this, as we are supposed to be for the bad guys. I like to hear about the other side, but feel guilty about having empathy for bad people. When my I-phone was stolen, I certainly did not have empathy for the crooks who stole it.
I also have trouble with the main character's looks. I get tired of books in which the main character can put on a bikini and look ravishing. The main character is a drug addict, in her thirties, never exercises, eats convenient food all the time, but can put on a bikini and turn men's heads.
I also agree with Claudia. I normally like to hear what caused a writer to write a book, but all of these info dumps by Crouch are just commercials for his new show. It also seems like he is falling in love with writing for TV, which means we can expect less novels and scary stories.
Narrator is excellent
I still liked the stories and feel this is still worth five stars.

What was most disappointing about Blake Crouch’s story?
I didn't hate the story, but I didn't like it. The short stories themselves were just OK, and the notes from Blake Crouch in between were boring. I didn't get this book to listen to him plug his TV show, so it was a big upset to realize that the already rather short 5 hour book was actually even shorter if I didn't listen to that.
Any additional comments?
I have not watched the show, nor have did I listen to Blake Crouch talked after his first segment. The short stories themselves were rather far fetched, even for Blake Crouch.

What a great listen. I really enjoyed this collection of 3 short stories, my only criticism being its just not long enough!!
could have been a good book if it wasn't for several chapters of the author talking.
