Publisher's Summary

What are ghost eyes? They are eyes that can see beyond the veil of death.
As children, Kara and Colin were inseparable but tragedy came between them. Now she needs Colin to help her discover the truth of her brother's disappearance, but he might also be the one who helps mend her broken spirit.
With its magnolia-lined streets and quaint little shops, Bayou Landing is the picture-perfect small town, but beneath its charming exterior there are dark secrets and haunting nightmares.
Twenty years ago, two children disappeared without a trace, leaving Bayou Landing and Kara Savoy changed forever.
One of the children that went missing is Kara's twin brother. In an instant, her life was plunged into darkness.
Her grandmother always told her that she'd inherited ghost eyes - eyes that can see the dead. Kara is determined to use her gift to find out what happened to her brother on that fateful day and bring a killer to justice.
The second child to disappear that year was Special Agent Colin Reid's sister. Colin is also determined to unravel the mystery, but he doesn't want Kara's help.
When another child goes missing, Kara must convince her childhood friend to let her help, but that won't be easy. Colin doesn't believe in Kara's gift.
With another child's life on the line and a killer on the loose, Colin might be the only one she can count on.
But does she dare trust him with her heart a second time?

Ok story.

The story was not bad. I recommend reading the book - I can not recommend the audible version. Narration was poorly performed. Very little in tone inflection or emotion for the Characters. I made it through the story but only by sheer will power.
