Critic reviews

"An X-Files-style mystery that brings back Chase Dagger for another tautly written, reader-gripping, mystery thriller." (Internet Book Watch)
"This fantastic mystery series contains elements of fantasy and horror that are fully interwoven into the who-done-it story line." (Midwest Book Review)

I need more of his books!!!

This was great - I would like to find more of his books on these characters. Really interesting characters. This can't be the first of the books in a series I know there have to be more.

This book will leave you howling for more!

What a unique twist to an old legend. This is certainly fast paced and action packed. It is just the thing to make that long commute to the office go by in a blink. The only problem is, when you get there, wil not want to go in. You just want to sit there and hear more. Great book! I, like the previous reviewer, would like hear other books by Mr. Driver. If this is his first, he has a bright future ahead of him.

Meh!

The suspense is fine; not good, not bad, not great, not horrible, just fine. The characters have potential, but are all way too shallow and one dimensional. The whole story desperately wants to be X-files. It might have made a good movie, but it doesn't make a good book.
And there is absolutely no excuse for an author to make a mistake like writing that someone's "blood literally turned icy".
