Publisher's Summary

Salvation and annihilation meet at one degree. One man's dream of providing clean drinking water for millions, tapped from the polar ice, sparks a conflict of humanity, science, big business, and environmental extremism. But no one can foresee the true danger hidden deep within the ice, an enemy more deadly than any could imagine, and an apocalyptic horror mankind may not survive.

Critic Reviews

“If Freezing Point is (Dionne’s) first novel, I’d sure like to read her second. Here’s a writer with a very bright future indeed.” (Douglas Preston)
“Karen’s a female Michael Crichton. Freezing Point is a terrific read. I highly recommend it.” (James Rollins)

Freezing Point will have your blood running cold

I picked this book up on the recommendation of James Rollins. He mentioned that he had read this one and really liked it so I thought I'd give it a try.
I was not disappointed. Talk about freezing you to your seat. I couldn't stop listening.
This book has just the right amount of technology, "save our world" issues, and believeable characters, delivering a solid, fast paced, at times gruesome, story line.
With our resources of fresh water dwindling rapidly, could the technology in this book provide a possible solution?
If you like adventure, this is one for you!!!!

Freezer Burn

A short, moderately entertaining thriller, reasonably well narrated. The story doesn't have time to paint too detailed pictures of the characters, and relies abit heavily on " action ". Requires a notable amount of belief suspension, but overall moderately entertaining.
