Publisher's Summary

Deep within the Pentagon, a covert multibillion arms-for-influence program was created. The objective was to protect the United States and its allies from terrorist acts by secretly enabling a handpicked man to emerge as the most powerful leader in the Middle East. But the charismatic Tristan Nazir double-crosses America, twisting the program for his own violent ends to create ISIS. Now America is at great risk.
Elite operative Dewey Andreas is sent to Syria to retrieve details about the source of ISIS' funding, but his cover is blown midoperation, and chaos erupts in the streets of Damascus. Trapped and outnumbered, Dewey manages to send proof of the awful truth - unknown at even the highest levels in the government - that ISIS' munitions were indeed provided by America itself.
This information arrives in time to for the US to cut off a final arms shipment before it reaches ISIS. But the vicious Nazir is far from finished. He launches a bold strike into the heart of America, sending a terrorist cell to take over a dorm at Columbia University, capturing hundreds of college students as hostages. For every hour that the shipment of weapons is withheld, the terrorists will publicly execute one student. The potential loss of life is intolerable. A frontal assault is impossible. Releasing the shipment is unthinkable. There is nowhere to turn.
In a situation with no solutions, there remains only one option: Dewey Andreas.

His best book ever

I have listened to all of the Dewey Andreas series and this was the best one ever. I could not quit listening. It was full of twists and turns, different stories happening all over the world, but all tied together. It was his best thriller ever. I will recommend this to all my friends as a great summer read. Can't wait for the next one!

Ben Coes keeps getting BETTER & BETTER!

Any additional comments?

I'm only about 1/2 way done with this book and had to write a review in defense of some ratings that were left early on. I don't know how anyone could have left poor ratings early this morning only hours after the release of this book with no explanation why. I was really expecting a DUD!
I must say this (in my opinion) and again I'm not done, is probably the best in the Dewey Andreas series. Since I started listening this book has captured my attention and won't let go. I have refused to answer my phone because I don't want to stop listening. IT'S THAT GOOD!
I'm not going to recap the story since you can read the summary yourself and to state anymore that that would spoil this fantastic book for someone else. The action is nonstop and believable. I think it is obvious from the writing that the author has experience in combat situations and his writing demonstrates this. I am so impressed with this book I just can't say enough about it.

Peter Hermann did a Fantastic job narrating this as well as the other books in this series.

In my opinion this is probably the BEST action packed book so far this year!
