And her examination of the foot throws up more questions than answers. Before she can make any progress Tempe's professional standing is threatened. But she fears that, air tragedy aside, another corpse lies somewhere in the woods. Pitting herself against a conspiracy of silence, Tempe vows to bring justice for her mystery victim.

Fatally unput downable!

In Fatal Voyage Tempe finds an old foot bone mixed with the human remains of a plane crash site she is helping with. As a result of meddling by prominent members of the community, she is ordered of the case. Bones refuses to give up and investigates anyway. Kate Harper delivers a great performance which makes Fatal Voyage by Kathy Reichs fatally unput downable.

Interesting enough to compel me to go on

What did you love best about Fatal Voyage?

I've read almost all of the Kathy Reichs books and they are like an old friend now.

What other book might you compare Fatal Voyage to and why?

They are a bit like Patricia Cornwalls Scarpetta books, same kind of main character but Tempe is less pretentious.

Did Kate Harper do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

I don't really like her voice but it forced me to think of the main character as different from the one I heard in my head when I read them.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

A really bad few days at the office.
