Early years Patrick Bowers- EXCELLENT!
Any additional comments?
This is a second prequel following Every Crooked Path. The book is excellent. It takes place prior to the Chessmatch book series.
In this book Bowers is still in the early stages of his relationship with Christie, who will later become his wife. He travels to another state at the request of an ex girlfriend whose personal life could be at the crux of the serial murder case she is investigating (albeit with out her knowledge). In the meanwhile there are terrorists plotting a biological attack, and Bowers old nemesis is somehow involved with both situations. What follows is one situation after another that keeps you on the edge.
What I like about this book is that with so much going on and so much suspense it has a believable ring to it and a storyline that is very easy to follow.
Richard Ferrone does an excellent job narrating.
This book is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I actually recommend the entire series but other then these last two books (which could be read first) I would suggest that this series be read in order.
