Publisher's Summary

Series narrator Lorelei King returns to narrate Eleventh Grave in Moonlight, the latest installment of Darynda Jones' New York Times best-selling paranormal series.
My entire life can be summed up in one sentence: "Well, that didn't go as planned." (T-shirt)
A typical day in the life of Charley Davidson involves cheating husbands, errant wives, missing people, philandering business owners, and, oh yeah...demons, hell hounds, evil gods, and dead people. Lots and lots of dead people.
As a part-time private investigator and full-time grim reaper, Charley has to balance the good, the bad, the undead, and those who want her dead. Now Charley is learning to make peace with the fact that she is a goddess with all kinds of power and that her own daughter has been born to save the world from total destruction. But the forces of hell are determined to see Charley banished forever to the darkest corners of another dimension. With the son of Satan himself as her husband and world-rocking lover, will Charley be able to defeat the ultimate evil and find a way to have her happily ever after after all?

I absolutely freaking loved this book!

I absolutely freaking love this book!

Rated 1-5 stars w/ 5 being the best (Audible ratings)

Overall: 5 Stars
Performance: 5 Stars
Story: 5 Stars

Well, I have loved every book in the series and am totally addicted to it. The gang is all here: Charley, Reyes, Ubie, Cookie, Osh, and Amber. The only one missing was Charley’s sister Gemma.

As usual the humor was sprinkled throughout the book. I love the quotes at the beginning of each chapter. Three of my favs are:

“She has moments when she seems stable, but then so does nitroglycerin.”
“Thank God I don’t have to hunt for my food. I don’t even know where tacos live.”
“I never said I’d die without coffee. I said other people would”

For some reason this book seemed to move along at a faster pace than the earlier ones. I enjoyed it, but it was different.

The ENDING. I knew when the scene started, it would be the ending...the cliffhanger ending that Darynda so expertly writes. Still... It caught me by surprise.

As always Miss Lorelei King did absolutely perfect job narrating the book!!! I totally love how she does each voice and makes the characters come alive. She is my absolute favorite female narrator. Any book she does is magical!

Did I mention that I absolutely freaking love this book!

Love this Series

I love this series I received an early kindle copy from net galley that I devoured in one day. Then as soon as it came out I ordered the audible version because I love listening to Ms. King bring Charley to life. This does end on a cliff hanger which surprisingly I'm okay with because it means Ill get Charley an Reyes in the future.
