Publisher's Summary

Known by his alias, "Oliver Stone," John Carr is the most wanted man in America. With two pulls of the trigger, the men who destroyed Stone's life and kept him in the shadows were finally silenced. But his freedom comes at a steep price: The assassinations he carried out prompt the highest levels of the U.S. government to unleash a massive manhunt. Behind the scenes, master spy Macklin Hayes is playing a very personal game of cat and mouse. He, more than anyone, wants Stone dead.
With their friend and unofficial leader in hiding, the members of the Camel Club risk everything to save him. Now, as the hunters close in, Stone's flight from the demons of his past will take him from the power corridors of Washington, D.C., to the small, isolated coal-mining town of Divine, Virginia-and into a world every bit as lethal as the one he left behind.

Baldacci Does It Again

If you are a friend of the Camel Club, then this is a must read. The story takes up from Oliver's jump from the cliff as the author weaves a story of suspense that carries Oliver and eventually the Camel Club to an isolated mountain village in Virginia. Though this rag-tag team of characters do not face international intrigue found in earlier books, there is plenty of action, twists, and suspense to keep you entertained and wanting to hear more.

The reader does an excellent job of conveying the intense drama that is woven throughout the book.

Since Divine Justice is a continuation of the plot from the earlier book Stone Cold, ideally, one should read it before purchasing this latest book.

The play of words found in the title will only become clear as the book comes to its masterful end.

Must Listen!

I have been waiting for Divine Justice for months and was not disappointed! This is the 4th book in the Camel Club series and I try enjoy the main character John Carr. What makes this series better than any other has to be the narrator. He is able to separate the character’s without sounding too dramatic and fake. Its slight differences that make it believable. The sound effects during fight and chase scenes also make it more interesting. I read 1 out of the 4 books and regret that I didn’t listen to the audio version. Ron McLarty truly adds his raspy voice to the character and truly makes you believe that is what John Carr would sound like in a movie. MUST LISTEN!
