As the first three other books of the series the story is full of fantastic explanation of plates regional cousin, wines and region plus a good picture of the culture and personality, in this case the Italians. All this mixed with a “mystery” not as interesting as the food descriptions but good enough to keep you reading
The sketch of the restaurants kitchen during operation is really good but I was surprised when I started listening to “beeps” each time one of the chef was saying a bad word! I have not seen the paper version of the book but I don’t imagine a “beep” to cover a bad word in written… This is the first time in all this years I listen to s censored audiobook.
As usual the narrator does a great job and I when finished book I went directly to the kitchen to eat!
