Really enjoyed this series.
Good follow up to the first book in this series set in the California Horse culture. Good suspense and a little romance. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys Linda Howard, Karen Robards, or Suzanne Brockmann.

Better than the last one
This one was better than the last one but the narrator still tried to makr Michaela sound southern. The mystery was pretty good and there are enough twists to keep you guessing.

This series would be improved by a bit of fact checking. I get the feeling the author knows a little but not nearly enough about horses, riding, and animal husbandry
